I’m 18 weeks pregnant and laying certain ways hurts sometimes. Laying on my back is most comfortable for me. sometimes laying on my sides hurt. It’s like a weird pain in my abdomen. I was just on my right side and had to turn to my back. Sometimes I feel this way on my stomach too. Is this normal?

Answer

Depends on what’s your natural side of sleeping. I’m a side sleeper so depending on the side I want to fall asleep on, of the baby is on that side, I will lay down and then move away to give the baby an opportunity to move and then I’ll go lay back on my side and sometimes repeat a few times until the baby moves to a comfortable spot we are both in. I’m 28 weeks now and when I’m pressing on the baby, it moves kind of like giving me a warning lol.
