so this ain’t no girl thing. Just a question. With all the news and videos about cops or civilians shooting dogs running at them. What would you do?

Well considering I don’t carry any of those things... nothing. I’d probably try and run away even though I know I’d fall and get mauled but besides that this isn’t controversial and no anon allowed this will get deleted... read the rules.

Why the fuck would I want to think about a scenario where I hurt or kill an animal??? I get that you're talking about self defense, but this isn't going to go over well. It's not a good debate topic.

So I am a cop, you don’t tase the animal because it doesn’t comply after, it just pisses them off. My first thing to do is get to a safe spot. If I cannot and it is aggressive trying to attack, depending on size, I pull my weapon. If I can fight it off with a baton I’ll try. I love animals but the safety of myself and others come first. There’s only been one time I’ve come into contact with an aggressive pit bull and I managed to get away from it until the owner got it and put it in a cage. He then had to be quarantined. But that was an animal that has gotten multiple calls on it and have attacked a child. Control your animals please.
