Question

If your boyfriend basically said the best sex he ever had was with some girl while on LSD? 
And if he said “and if one day you want to have the best sex of your life we can take it together...”
It made me feel as if our sex is sub-par compared to that. That I’m boring him. 
I’m not intro drugs and have only ever smoked weed a couple of times.

I don't think he's saying sex with you was subpar, just that the sex on LSD was a spiritual experience and that's what made it so good. He wants to connect with you on that level which is great! But if you want to then you shouldn't

I would take it the wrong way, like why bring it up?

Yes I would be mad, mainly because I would constantly compare myself to the girl. And I would feel like the sex wasn’t as good and it would make me feel insecure.

No, I wouldn’t. That’s no different than mentioned a position he’s tried before with someone else. It seems like he brought it up because he wants to try it with you. As long as he isn’t being pushy with it, I don’t see that he did anything wrong. Although I will say I would highly recommend NOT doing anything sexual the first time you drop, it really takes a few times to get used to the feeling.

To me it's no different than saying "hey I've tried this position in the past and it was great, I want to try it with you"
