Calling all emergency c sections mama's who then had a scheduled c section

As the weeks are getting closer I am freaking out hardcore.

Would you say your expierence was better having a planned c section rather than emergency? What could I expect to be different?

My doctor also mentioned I cant eat anything 8 hours prior to surgery except for some drink they give me?? How bad is that drink and what side effects should I expect from it?

What do they do to prep you? They are having me show up 2 hours early so I kinda just want to be prepared on what they do.

Ahhhhhh I'm terrified. Absolutely terrified.
