IUD and Symptoms

Hey guys,

I’ve had my IUD for almost 5 months. As each month went by, my PMS symptoms have also been slowly dabbling into pregnancy symptoms. I usually trust my IUD. However, last cycle, for one day I wasn’t able to feel my strings and then after two days I was able to feel my strings again (didn’t check the first day). This was also a day after having server cramping. Like... the bad cramp, next day no cramp, next day no string, waited one day and the second day felt for strings and I felt them. Three days later, had my period on time.

Currently I’m waiting for my next period that should happen the beginning of next week. I’m currently feeling a strong amount of nausea and nipple soreness than I have been before (I usually get this symptoms but not so strong like now). My brain is terrified that those were maybe some signs that my IUD has moved and this whole month I was not protected and got pregnant. I still feel my strings and they still feel very similar to how they were always.

My mom said those cramps are common for the first 6 months and everything should be fine.

Does anyone have advice for me?
