My baby is 1 month old and i am facing low milk supply issues. I had to supplement my baby with formula because of low supply within the first week. Although the doctors had advised against bottles, my mom.and mom in law suggested to go ahead with bottle.

Recently my LC explained to me that when baby gets in the habit of bottle, he does not suck properly from.breasts and does.not extract milk completely. Because of which the breasts would not get enough signals and stimulation to produce enough milk and the supply would remain low.

She suggested me to wean her off bottle and feed her through feeder or spoon to increase milk.supply. Has anyone faced the same issue. Did weaning off bottle worked with supply issues.
