Bassinet?!

What did you use for baby when you first came home? ill be on c section #2 & looking for best baby bassinet. I dont want to cosleep but I am going to breastfeed. TIA

With my daughter, we had a bassinet she hated it so I ended up co sleeping with a cosleeping cot. With my trio I’m doing arms reach bassinet

I'm breaking the bank and going with the halo. I really didn't want to, I can't imagine spending that much on a bassinet for our last baby but all the other bassinets I would have to bend over to grab baby and I'm not ok with that since I'll also be having a c section.

I think the brand we had was graco not sure but it was a bassinet that doubles as a swing!! It was so nice and used it for a long time

Halo bassinest. I LOVE it. Still holding strong sleeping in it at almost 6 months old.

I highly recommend the halo! 
And if cost is an issue they’re always getting posted secondhand on things like Facebook marketplace. We got a newer version worth over $300 new for only $80 after bartering a bit, and can probably make that back reselling afterwards. ✌️

Halo is a god send with c-sections. I'm sure you can find it used for 100 on fb market. We had ome and loved it. We let my cousin barrow it and she also loves it.

I have this one and I love it! It anchors on the other side of the bed super easy to pick her up in nurse her really quick and then lay her back down

We have the Fisher price soothing motions bassinet. Its $120 brand new at target. We did buy another mattress, mattress pad cover and sheets because we originally thought she hated it, but she was just really gassy. She sleeps like a champ! We love it, but I also didnt have a c section, so theres that, lol.

We did a crib from day 1 (well, day 1 of home after a short NICU stay). On the highest setting, it wasn’t an issue for me after my c-section, but I also had a very phenomenal recovery (I believe all the journeying back and forth between our room and NICU helped a lot! So try to walk as much as you can. Try to regain your strength.)
For naps she was in a pack and play (like not the setting all the way at the floor but the hanging insert) as well as her swing.
