What could this be

My friend has endometriosis and has been getting a shot for 4 months and hasn't had her period since starting it now she been having this for 3 days

Her body is probably just telling her it needs to have a period. I used to skip my period bc I think I have endo (my periods are god awful), but it got to the point that my pelvic/abdominal area felt so full/bloated that I gave in and continued having my regular period.

I also have endo and got bc to not have periods. This is just old blood, my doctor explained it as your body isn’t supposed to go without periods so you’ll spot old blood occasionally! Nothing to worry about

Brown blood is just old.. Probably just from not having a period for awhile. I never understood why doctors do this.. From my experience with endometriosis not having a period for many months meant when it did finally happen it was waaayy worse. But either way completely normal when on BC.

Brown blood only means that it’s old blood finally coming down. Completely normal to have brown to pink spotting right before a period
