Bleeding, but no cramps? (5+3)

Question

I have just been to the bathroom, and there is some blood (not a lot, but enough that I am freaking out) in my underwear. 
I haven't had any cramping today, but I have been light headed. 
Should I be concerned?

Never, ever be afraid to call your OB or go to the hospital if you bleed.

However.

I was 5+6 when I started bleeding. i paniced. I went to the er. Eleven hours of observation and a transvaginal sonogram later baby looked fine. Still, I bleed for three weeks straight. Now i'm 31+6 with a healthy baby girl!

Some bleeding during first trimester is normal. If you begin to cramp and bleed at the same time, that's when you should worry. like i said though, don't ever be afraid to call your ob or head to the hospital
