My opinion is wrong..?

I'm 20 and I want to keep my kid.. But my SO says he will never agree with my decision to keep it and that my opinion to keep it is wrong. He says it's okay to want to keep it but giving it up for adoption would be the best decision... I feel like I'm broken inside.. I'm even at the point to where I wish I'd miscarry... I've tried so hard to hate this baby...

my biological father walked out before I was born. And you know what? i turned out just fine.

My point here is you need to sit down and have a long think about what YOU want. Your SO helped make that baby and he's being an insensitive ass, though he might warm up to the idea in time. My father and I didn't meet until I was seventeen. I missed out on nothing, I promise you.

Don't try to force yourself to hate your baby! Even if you end up giving it up for adoption that is a huge sacrifice and sign of love for the child and what is best for them. Do what you feel in your heart is best. Don't make a life altering decision based on the opinion of another, even if it is someone you care for. Do what is best for you and for the baby, not what is convenient for the father!
