Briar a boy or girl name?

We have a 2 month old girl named Briar. Pretty much everyone who hears the name thinks she is a he. It doesn't bother me or anything but I am curious if it's actually considered a male name? We figured it more feminine since Sleeping Beauty's original name was Briar Rose

I think of Briar Rose from sleeping beauty so no I don’t think it’s a boys name

What i thought she was Princess Aurora? I've actually never seen or heard the name before and just thought it sound masculine. Not trying to be a dick or anything I've just never heard it.

I definitely think of Briar Rose first when I hear it, but that’s probably because I already have two little girls and we have read Sleeping Beauty a hundred times haha.
