Worried my bump is too small? 20 weeks?😞

People keep saying to me how on earth can I be 20 weeks?! I was very very skinny before, never unhealthy... I’m just one of those people that can eat anything and have always stayed the same size my whole life..... I’m really worried by baby is too small... I see other 20 week bumps and I’m terrified😞

You definitely have a small bump but there’s nothing wrong with that. It doesn’t indicate baby’s health or yours. Every body is different. I’m also an “eat everything but don’t gain weight person” and my belly was HUGE, like OVERsized. No rhyme or reason, just random chance. If your midwife or doctor says you two are healthy, thats all that matters!

Your bump is totally normal for a first time mom. Many, many women do not show until the third trimester with their first child (and some don’t even with subsequent children)... we all carry different. People are often uniformed and think pregnancy is liked the movies where you have a huge bump for 9 months, and while this is true for some women, especially with subsequent pregnancies, it is definitely not the case for many.

Don’t worry about what other people say. Even if you weren’t skinny some people still don’t show because of how your stomach is structured. I was also like you when I was 20 weeks and I’m 39+4 with a healthy baby!💕
