Mine is 2weeks 3 days old and nurses on demand. I try for the 2-3 hours, sometimes he’ll make it, sometimes he nurses more often. That’s fine. He mostly still sleeps in between. Sometimes he’s awake and I’ll talk/ read to him, and try to engage him with a toy. It’s never more than ~10-20minutes at a time and he’d fall asleep again. His belly button stump fell out a few days ago and circumcision healed, so now I can start doing tummy time and baths.

At what age do they start napping more consistently and having more awake time?
