Umbilical cord help? 🙃

Does it look normal. It literally happened like 5 minutes ago. Do I clean it. Can I put clothes over it? What should I do if anything? Help? 😅😅
Update::// not infected. His doctor said it looks as good as could be. He dried out the tiny part that wasn’t yet. And said it looks perfect.

Keep clean and dry and should heal up. My bub’s looked similar. If if has a smell, might be worth getting a doctor to look at it.

Happened to my LO as well. Dr said some of it got left in and to leave it alone besides keeping dry. It formed a scab which came off everyday at bath time until it didn’t look raw anymore so I clean with an alcohol swab after bath now just to clean it up properly.

Same thing happened to my baby. I took her to the doctor and he cauterized it and it helped it heal properly

My daughters came off lastnight and it looked like that, 12 hours later it has started to invert and looks great. Her pediatrician said it looks perfect

That happened to ours well. The pediatrician said to keep any goo out with alcohol wipes and to cover it with gauze. She also put silver nitrate on it to help it heal because hers kept scabbing over and then would come off when laying on us.

Looks a little raw. Did the stump get pulled off? 
I would personally leave it alone. Just keep it dry and don’t let it get dirty but don’t do anything extra. Watch it for sigs of bleeding or infection
