too jealous? IDK
so my boyfriend has two best friends that are girls. there’s one that i’m okay with, we talk frequently. but the other best friend (let’s call her Sarah), I haven’t talked to in about a year. I do see her at games, however, she’s cousins with one of my boyfriend’s ex. the ex and Sarah are really cousin, I mean they’re cousins! And whenever my Bf hangs out with Sarah, the ex is there as well. At the games, Sarah doesn’t acknowledge me, and doesn’t say hi.
I’ve gotten mad from previous events (sleep overs, getting tattoos together w/o me knowing) but I’ve gotten over it. However, last night’s event really says a lot. Last night, he brought Sarah and her cousin, to the airport at 3am but went over their house around 10 to have s’mores and what not. He finally drops them off and gets to his house around 5am.
He had planned to come tomorrow to see me, we live in different states. The original plan was for him to come on Friday & leave Saturday morning. He calls me and states that he was thinking not to sleep over because Saturday night is an important game. Although, I do want him to rest up—since it is a very important game on Saturday... in the back of my head I can’t help but think that if he were visiting his best friends, he would sleep over or not be in a rush to get back. Yes, I know distance plays a factor but I just don’t think it’s fair. I’ve told him this way too many times, but I guess it just doesn’t go into his head.
do you ladies have any advice? what should I say?
(also: I do trust my man. we’ve been dating for 3 years, I trust him. however, it’s these moments like these where I feel he puts more attention to his best friends than to me...)
