Best advice for first time parents?

Obviously my husband and I will decide which advice we will use and what will work best for us.

Read up on good sleep habits for baby prior to giving birth. It's so easy to fall into using sleep props when you're sleep deprived yourself and just want the baby quiet. I didn't read any sleep books until my daughter was about 6 months old and by then I had started bad habits with her that were so hard to break.

plan some meals to get you through the first week (at least) after baby is born that take minimal time and effort to cook. Or you could survive off a Costco box of Ritz crackers for a while like my husband and I did 😜

I second the whole sleep routine advice. I didn't do any of that and now I'm stuck with a two year old who can't put himself to sleep and is still in our bed 🤪

Buy or rent a Snoo smart sleeper! We just got a rental at 6 weeks old and wish we’d had it from the get-go. Uninterrupted sleep has been amazing for the baby and for us!!
