What is your baby name? How did you pick it?

Hi all! We're getting there! 
I thought it would be fun to share our baby names and the "story" behind them, if any. Share below!
I'm having my first. It is a boy and we're naming him Otto. Our last name is super German so we wanted something that went with it but wasn't too unheard of. Oliver is one of the top baby names right now so I felt like Otto was a unique twist on that 😊

We are naming our little girl Raelynn Noreen. My middle name is Noreen and it was also my favorite grandma’s middle name. She passed when I was 16. She was named after another relative, but I’m not sure who. I think it was her great aunt. 
We found Raelynn on Pinterest and really liked it. After we picked it, we found out Rae means lamb. The same grandma I got my middle name from had given me a lamb stuffed animal when I was little and it was always one of my favorites. I even still have it with me as an adult. I took it as a sign from my grandma that it was meant to be our baby girl’s name. 💜

Jocelyn Nancy is the name we chose. Nancy is my aunt who passed away when I was young but she had a big impact on my life so I wanted to use her name as a middle name. It's hard to find names that go along with Nancy. The two I liked best were Harper and Jocelyn and over time we favored Jocelyn.

Baby girl due in October- Sophie Joy will be her name.
My mom's name is Joy, she passed away when I was 20, so I knew right away that would be her middle name.
Sophie is just a name I have loved forever, and I thought it went together well.

We’re naming our daughter Salem James. In Hebrew Salem means, “Complete or at peace”. We feel she’s completing our family. My husband and I also met, fell in love and got engaged in Salem, Ma. James is my husbands name and many other important family members names as well. 💗

We don't know the gender of our baby but if it's a girl, her name will be Mary Catherine  (my sister's name) and if it's a boy he will be Graham Taylor. We love the movie The Holiday, which is where Graham came from. 😅

My 12 year old is Khiara Denise Marie. My husband name is Khori, my mom middle name is Denise and my mother in-law middle name is Marie. My son name will be Sean-Khori Michael. My mother in-law 1st name is Shawn and my grandfather name was Michael.

We also have a very long German last name so we like to choose short, uncomplicated first names. We were set on Ruby, but at our anatomy scan my husband brought up the name Lucy (he's changed his mind after every anatomy scan 🙄). Lucy was on our shortlist for both our older daughters and I figured since I had used my 2 favorites already I'd let him pick this baby's name. Her middle name is Danielle after my younger brother Daniel. We're all so excited to finally meet our little Lucy girl!
