I’m assuming this is for high school :)

Take the PSAT as a benchmark test (aka don’t study) since next years PSAT (junior year) could help you get scholarships if you can make national merit.

Begin studying for the SAT during the summer of sophomore to junior year.

Try to keep your grades up, go to class, etc.

Get involved in clubs if you can bec it will give you an opportunity to try new things and even move into leadership positions which is good for college applications.

If you date don’t forget to keep up relationships with your friends. Not doing that will leave you dependent on your partner (not great for a relationship), make your friends feel undervalued, and leave you feeling lonely and disconnected if you break up with your so.

Being single during high school is not a bad thing, and is a valuable experience. It allows you to develops yourself and become your own person independently.

That said dating is also a good experience as high school relationships usually don’t last so you have a chance to make mistakes and learn in a safe environment.

Avoid drugs and alcohol. They’re expensive and honestly not worth the risk at this point.

If that’s your scene know what drugs are instantly addictive and DO NOT EXPERIMENT with those. Also be careful bec u generally can’t really know what ur getting.

Don’t post pics/videos of u ok social media using or drinking

Also, DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE! it’s selfish and you could end up dying or killing someone else’s loved one.

MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!

If you aren’t sure what you want to do with your life that’s ok. Just pick something you’re sort of interested in and actively learn more about it. If you actually like it you’ll know that way
