I recently relocated from TX. I heard the news about the shooting in El Paso on 8/3. I was so saddened by it, not because I’ve lived in TX for the past decade, but because the news of such events are more and more frequent. We as a nation are turning our backs on God and we are seeing the results in the news every day.

When I read one of the shooting victims was only 4 months old, I felt nauseous, just sick to my stomach. That poor helpless infant. The poor parents who have to have the thought “why did I/we go to the store that day, that time?” Were they shot themselves?

Then I read about the 25 year old mom who sacrificed her life to protect her 2 month old son, who was shot with him in her arms, and who ended up in the hospital suffering broken bones from his mother’s lifeless body falling on him.

I was already shaken about the news, then hearing about the infants and being s mother of an infant myself, I can’t lie, I cried. My husband tried to console me, and we prayed together, I hadn’t seen a post on this feed about El Paso yet, so I thought I would post one.

Please pray for the victims of the El Paso shooting. For their families. For the lost ones. For the ones recovering. Pray for America. We need prayer more than ever. 🙏🏽
