Are old wives tails true?

My babies heartbeat was 144 at 7 weeks.... I heard anything under 140 is a boy and above is a girl.... do you think it’s true? Lol

Wow I had my 6wk 3 day ultrasound 2 days ago, heart beat was 124bpm I’ve already got 3 boys & one girl & cant remember what they were 🤦🏻‍♀️

My sons heart rate at our first ultrasound was in the 150’s and this bubbas was the same. So it will be interesting come time to meet bubba to find out the gender!

According to the 6 other comments, it seems you may be having girl....notice how everyone had the opposite of what the old wives tale claimed...lol....

I take all that kind of stuff with a grain of salt, honestly. My daughter was in the 170s and my son was always around 150. But my friends 2 sons were both over 170 the whole time, so you never know!
