So I have been having a bit of pain. Massive period like cramps that last 30-60 minutes at a time. Nothing allows for relief. This usually happens once a day, closer to dinner time. Then yesterday it happened while I was at my appointment, Dr. said irritable uterus, similar to BH by not helping labor, but much stronger and not relieved by rest or hydration. She told me if they hooked me up to a monitor it would show a bunch of little contractions back to back. That if it gets to where they are 10 minutes apart to call L&D. I don’t know how to measure them. She also said if there is leaking, blessing, or less baby movements to go.

Unrelated to me, but my mom called to say my cousin had been cramping all day and went to L&D. She’s in preterm labor and they are giving her magnesium to try and stop it. She’s one week behind me so now I am even more nervous.

What makes it worse now is that it hasn’t stopped at all. If I get any relief it’s for about 1 minute and it continues. It has been this way since 4:30 last night, so much that I slept on the couch not to wake my husband from my whimpering and groans of pain.

I woke up at 5:30 this morning and it has already started again!

Anyone have these horrible pains and how did you measure?
