Is this a symptom of a UTI?

I know I have a uti and I am going to the doctor this evening to get treatment. But my vagina has been SO itchy and uncomfortable, kinda like a yeast infection, so I was wondering if that is a symptom of UTIs? Will the prescription I get fix that as well? And how fast will the prescription work probably? I’m worried because I’m competing in capital classics tomorrow (huge martial arts competition)
