These are the blue dye tests I took compared to one of the pink dyes I took. The bottom right tests were using the same urine.
I personally haven't had issues this time around but have previously gotten what was either a false positive or an indication of a chemical pregnancy. The rule of thumb that I go by is to not trust a blue dye test unless the line is VERY obvious.

I didn’t get a clear positive on a clear blue (non digital) until I was 6 weeks. All other tests came back bright positives

I got two clear positives on blue dye that showed up in the time frame and all that. They were 8DPO and 9DPO. I am now 11DPO and have not been able to get a line on any other test including FRER. The blue dye positives were obviously false positives and I am pretty mad about it.

It was half & half with me with my daughter I tested with a blue dye & got a very bold blue positive (I was already about 6-7 weeks along) it was a Walgreens brand, for my Angle Baby I tested with the Walmart Equate brand & got a faint positive right away before a minute it was up I did another & again with in seconds it came up, I was about 4 weeks along. Recently I tested again with the same brand from Walmart & gave me a false faint positive with in time frame but I knew it was false since it didn’t pop up quick like in my last pregnancy

For what it is worth here are my false positives:

Like I said earlier the lines appeared right away. They were clearly faint blue lines by the 2 minute mark. I swear the 9DPO one even looks a tiny bit darker. But all my pink dye tests have been negative and I'm 11DPO now. If those positives had been real I would have at least gotten a squinter by now.
