I thought I'd seen all the old wives tales, but this one is new to me!

Apparently, pregnant women can develop a vein in the white of their eye, at the 6:00 position. Pull your eyelids down to take a look!

Theory says that if you have a V, Y, or U shaped vein in the right eye, it means boy. Left eye is girl. Both eyes, you're either having twins or a girl. No veins like this = boy.

I have a definite Y in my left eye and kind of a squiggle/circle in the right. Ultrasound shows just one baby, so I'm gonna say this means girl for me... Exactly what I'm hoping for!! I just don't know if the vein was there before. 😂

Anyone else? Or can you check someone's eyes who isn't pregnant? I looked at my friend's last night and she's clear, lol.

This is my left, the forks of the Y are faint in the pic, but they extend up to the iris.
