Thrush

My 11 day old daughter has thrush and I have it on my nipples. The pain is nearly unbearable some feedings and I am pumping enough for one to two feedings a day so I can sleep but it's so stressful. We both started nystatin yesterday but all I hear are stories about how it doesn't work for most moms but seems to be okay for baby. Does anyone have any advice on how to survive this? I want to keep bf but this is a true test!
