Measuring 4 weeks ahead ?

Question

I measured 4 weeks ahead at my 24 week appointment . At my 28 weeks apt we will measure again and schedule a growth scan if I'm still measuring ahead .
What can I expect ? 
Big baby ? Early delievery ? 
I also gained more weight than they would like already.
My first son came at 40+5 at 6lbs 12oz

I was measuring several weeks ahead, and the ultrasound showed he was fine and right on track. Those measurements can be really off.

I assume you just mean you're measuring ahead based on fundal height (doctor measuring the size of your uterus over your belly)? If so, they will likely order an ultrasound to see if you have an excessive amount of amniotic fluid or if the baby is measuring large.  But no, its not an indication of early delivery,  and baby may or may not be big. The ultrasound could provide an estimate of baby's size.
