so i went to the doctors yesterday and they told me i had a bacterial infection, and gave me medicine. i’m currently taking the Metronidazole Gel(for 5 days), and had the mirena iud put in a little over a month ago. i know certain antibiotics can cancel out your birth control, so i just was wondering if anyone knew if you can have unprotected sex while using this gel, or if it will cancel out your birth control? please help!
