Where do newborns sleep?

FTM here and this is probably a dumb question. I know that you are supposed to sleep when the baby sleeps but for the first month during the day, where does baby sleep if I want to be downstairs doing something?

On your chest. And ‘doing something’ means watching Netflix. With a sleeping baby on your chest. Because if you move the baby, then you don’t have a sleeping baby anymore. 
At least that’s how baby naps go for me that first month or three. 🤷‍♀️

I put my son in his pack n play in my room and just set up the baby monitor out in the kitchen/living room while I’m cleaning or whatever

I have my pack and play set up on the first level of my house, the crib in the nursery and bassinet in my room.

She sleeps in her pack n play & i use the baby monitor when i wanna go downstairs or even take a shower.

Personal preference. Can sleep in there crib upstairs or a bassinet or pack in play downstairs with you while your doing things . Swing for a little bit .

I use a bassinet with a camera attached and carry the moniter around with me while baby sleeps that way I can see and hear if baby is waking up for a feed and doesn't get the point of a screaming down the house for it he doesn't feed well when he gets like that

During the day she slept in the boppy napper, or swing- supervised of course.
If unsupervised she was in her crib or pack and play
