Gotta vent ladies

So I have to vent about something that happened at work today that only you ladies will understand the gravity of.

It’s shift change, everyone’s trying to figure out where they’re working tonight and one of our women who is scheduled apparently has been out for a few days. The male nurse working with me announces, loud enough that everyone could hear, “oh yeah, they hauled her out of here on a stretcher the other day because she had an ectopic pregnancy!!”

I looked him dead in the eye and informed him it isn’t his place to share that with the world, even if she had told some of the staff. It’s her choice. I was appalled. Am appalled.
