Flipping out spouse

My husband works out of town 3-4 days a week and comes back home Thursday night or Friday morning. I have been sick for 3 days, running a fever, coughing, blowing my nose and sneezing all night and I told him before he got home that I hadn’t had a chance to go to the store so all we have to eat is stuff for a sandwich. I planned to go to the grocery store today and this morning he started cussing me out saying I’m not working and I should have gone to the store. He said you should always make sure we have food in the house. I recently quit my job to be with him due to a relocation at his job. I should have gone to the store but the way he treatment me this morning was so wrong and terrible. And not to mention I was coughing so much at the time of his bs that I almost threw up on him. Guess I should have.

Edit: he’s NEVER acted that way before so I was taken aback by it. That’s exactly what I said to him though. That he’s a fucking asshole. 😡
