How often do you see your OB?

I’m starting to think my OB is too busy for me! I met with him at 3.5 weeks (had a previous MC), had 3 ultrasounds since, but I haven’t actually seen him since then! I’m currently 13 weeks! When I go to the ultrasound visits, after the nurse checks my vitals and asks if I have questions, and I usually do. Either she answers them or tells me she will call me with a response from the OB. Shouldn’t my OB be meeting with me more?!
*Edit: I think I’d be considered a high risk pregnancy. I’ve had a miscarriage early this year then was diagnosed with PCOS. Now I’m on progesterone since my PCOS lab work said I had almost none. I’ve since had questions for my MD, like about my blood pressure going really low at times, but usually the nurse answers the questions, and I’m told the OB is busy.
Also, I saw my OB at 3.5 weeks, but it’s been 10 weeks since I’ve seen him now. It’ll be 12 weeks from when I saw him until I’m scheduled to see himagain.

Its every 4 weeks where I live in BC. Have you made yourself your first ob appt? Usually they want you to have your first prenatal anywhere between 10-13 weeks and then see you every 3-4 weeks until you are 35 weeks.

I am 13 weeks and have only had 1 appt at 9.5 weeks, during which I saw my OB. I don’t think that’s unusual at all. My next appt isn’t for 3.5 more weeks. But I do see the OB every time I go.

It’s monthly until 28 weeks usually.. for a normal healthy low risk pregnancy.

That’s one reason i prefer midwives. Obs tend to see you every few months, and generally a nurse practitioner or physicians assistant will see you on your other visits. I believe you should still be seen by someone every 4 weeks once the pregnancy is established. I generally use certified nurse midwives (I had to use an ob once), and I see them every time. I also never feel rushed in our appointments.

First appointment at 13 weeks then it’s every 4 weeks until 28 weeks then every 2 weeks until 35 weeks then weekly until birth.
I saw my GP to confirm pregnancy, do first trimester bloods, get referrals for NT scan and NIPT. So when I saw OB she had all that info already.

I’m 14 weeks and I’m in Texas,i found out a day before my birthday (07/08), and then I went the week after for a confirmation and first ultrasound 07/16 and I’m scheduled next week for my check and I’ll be 15 weeks then. I would check in and see why is there is such a gap with scheduling

I never she a doctor only a LPN (I believe that’s their credentials). I never saw a doctor my whole entire pregnancy with my son either except for the first visit to the practice.
