Fresh start?

Anyone move away from your hometown for a fresh start, to better yourself? We are moving from our hometown (were 22 and 23 and have lived here our whole lives) to a place 2 hours away where we only know a handful of people. I’m excited. I feel like a fresh start will be good for me personally. I want to make the best out of it and grow as a person.
Anyone ever up and leave? Regrets?

Moving is the best! We’ve moved so much now that being in our house for a year seems like ages. I love new starts! It can be rough finding new friends but i recommend always being yourself and see who fits and who doesn’t.

I moved 4,000 miles from England to the USA completely alone to marry my now husband.

I did at 18/19 I moved from Nashville, Tennessee to Cincinnati, Ohio, then at 20 I moved to Cleveland, Ohio.
I lived in Nashville my whole life really, then I decided to make a huge move and go live with my then boyfriend(now fiancé). Best decision I ever made.

We plan on doing the same in the near future. I live in Wisconsin and we plan to move to Tennessee so it's a big move actually which is gonna be scary being away from all family and friends. Plus living in a completely different state not knowing the area or people. Yeah I'm nervous about it too! Haha

We moved 35 minutes away which isn't exactly far butit gave us space to grow on our own. It's taken a looking timeto make decent friends though
