Dilating?

Anyone dilating yet? I’m 36 weeks as of yesterday my dr checked me yesterday I’m 2cm dilated 50% effaced! Anyone else been checked yet or had this progression w a previous pregnancy?

At 36 weeks last Tuesday I was dilated to a 2 to 3 and 80% effaced 😁

Is it normal practice for you ladies to be checked? I’m in Australia and they don’t check here as far as I’m aware (didn’t with my first and haven’t with my 2nd n I’m 38 weeks) until I was in labour.

I’m 36 weeks. 4 cm dilated and 0% effaced as of Monday. I don’t understand why I’m not effaced but I’m dilating. I go to see my doctor tomorrow morning

I am 35 weeks and haven't been checked for dilation yet. My next appointment is at 36 weeks and I'll be getting the group B test done so idk if they will check then or not. 
I am getting a C-section at 39 weeks so idk if they will worry about checking or not..... I am kind of interested to know but not a big fan of getting cervix checked as it's a little uncomfortable, personally. Haha. 
I remember with my first, I got chrcked around 35 weeks and was 1cm but didn't go into labor until 39+3.
I am seeing a different doctor this time and going to a different hospital. My local hospital closed down labor & delivery so everyone here can either go to Pittsburgh or Morgantown WV...each about 40 or so min drive away... So it may be good to check progress.
