Is a VBAC possible?
I had my baby in March. At my 36 week appointment, my blood pressure was a little high. Monitored it and it stayed high for a few days jumping to 160/110, so I was induced at 37 weeks 3 days. I didn’t respond to the pitocin and stayed at 1 cm dilated for 16 hours even with my water broken, so we ended up doing c section. I honestly believe either baby just wasn’t ready because it was too early and we were forcing her out or because I got the epidural 2 hours after the pitocin. I got it so early because they said if I didn’t get it at that point, it would be a few more hours. I feel like it stopped my labor process. My doctor will not perform a VBAC for anyone. Just curious if anyone has a similar story and had a success. I’m not currently pregnant but want to start trying when my daughter is 18 month. Reason I want a VBAC is because I plan on having 3-4 more kids and don’t want 4-5 c sections. That seems more dangerous.
