Does your LO ever cough during feedings?

Sometimes he gets so excited he starts choking and coughing! Could it be reflux or is he just drinking too fast?

Yep! Went and say an LC and mentioned it. She said it was because my let down was too fast. She said to express before to help with the letdown.

My little guy does this! He’s 5w2d and I do have an overactive letdown but he also has silent reflux we just got him on medicine and i try to express a little before feedings && it’s been much better but still rough once in a while. Definitely scary the first time.

This happens only on one of my breasts I think my letdown might be to quick.

Mine does post meal. He is on formula for a milk and soy protein intolerance. He was started on Zantac today. He's only 4 weeks old. Hopefully, he gets better.
