Baby #2?

Question

I look at my baby and she adorable and believe you me I am all for waiting another couple years before I pop another little one outta this 😺 but a lot of my friends have been semi convincing me that it’s more beneficial to have them closer in age lol basically get them all out and over with( since it’s been decided we’ll only be having 2) 
any thoughts mommas? 
What do you guys recommend based on experience , honest experience lol.

I have 5 children and expecting my sixth. My eldest two have 23 months between them, then there's a gap of six years between them and my daughter, then a gap of exactly 2 years between her and my twins. There's now 14 years between my twins and my expected baby (due March 2020).
I felt the 2 year age gap was perfect. The 2 year old was adequately curious about the baby to want to be helpful. I could also do bath and bedtime routines at pretty much the same time, I was already doing a bucket load of laundry so the newborn phase wasn't so much of a big deal.
It was quite a shock to the system having my daughter - I'd gotten out of the routine of ensuring I had extra clothes, diapers, bottles, transport solutions by the time I had her. I'd forgotten about bed and bath routine. We'd gotten to a point with my older boys where we could go out of an evening and not have to worry about bath/bed routine and we had just come out of child minders too.
Again with this baby, I've gotta get my mindset back again. With my youngest currently being 14 years old we could up and go to the store without having to gather them up. We could go out of an evening and not have to arrange babysitters. I could work without the need for childminders....
Pros and cons for both - with my youngest currently being 14, I will be able to dedicate time to the baby. I know they will want to help in more practical ways like getting the grocery shop done with my husband, helping keep the house clean and tidy. Watching the baby for 10 minutes so I can grab a shower. Keeping me sane after I've been up all night with the baby.

There are pros and cons to every age gap. When you feel ready and are in a good situation to have another baby is the right time for you! My first 2 are just under 2 years apart and my second and third will have the same age gap 😊 I love that they get to grow up close but it’s also hard at bedtimes e.g when they both need you at once!

I have 2 that are 18 months apart. It can be a lot of work keeping up with a toddler and a newborn, and I also worked. It’s doable though. They’re very close to one another and are best friends... for now. Lol
