How can i make my look less simple? Im taking my mom and my MIL out for their birthdays and while it's not a big thing, i feel underwhelmed with my same ol look

I ended up in a high pony with a braided middle but i totally lost my nerve with any makeup at all and went the bare face route. I rarely wear makeup and find that when I do try, i go too far and lose my nerve. Someday ill have confidence in make up.
