Am I in the wrong here?

My 5 week old is nursing well (I think) she's gaining weight how she's supposed to and she poops sometimes right after nursing. My S.O thinks when she cries on my breast is because she's not getting enough milk. My reason that her weight gain is a good indication, he says is just my excuse.

What else is there to do to convince him that our daughter is getting her nutrition she needs?
