Worked while miscarrying ??

Have any of you ladies worked while going through a miscarriage?? How did you handle it? I need tips to stop crying and tips to help with the cramps. The hospital just confirmed the miscarriage and all I can do is cry...

I would just ask to leave. If they seriously get pissed off for the reason then you shouldn't work there anyway. Just take time off for yourself. I'm sorry

I worked. It helped me keep my mind off of it. My work knew what was happening so they were very helpful and supportive.  It will be different for everyone. No one way is the right way to do it. I am so sorry you are going through this.

Yeah. I tried to focus on other things so I wouldn't start crying in front of patients. I did tell one of the ladies I worked with. I was confident she would understand (she did) and wouldn't gossip to other people about it.

I wasn't working but in college. I tried to still go to class but I was so emotional I could hardly keep it together. Pluse my bleeding was so heavy I couldn't sit through a class without having to go change several times. I finally just left and went home and by the time I got home I had bleed through my cloths and on the seat even though I put on a fresh pad right before leaving. After that I too the rest of the week off and did class work from home.
