Motivation for weight loss

I’ve always been fat, currently size 18, I’m 5,4”.

I have pcos and the times I’ve lost significant weight has been due to illness or medication side effects.

I try to eat better, not skip meals, cut back on sweets. But then I don’t see a difference in a reasonable time, I give up and go back to my usual patterns of skipping breakfast and eating sweets.

I stress eat a lot. Sweets are my only addiction.

For those that have lost weight, how do you stay motivated to work out and eat healthy? Even before you start noticing results?

I’ve tried low carb and phentermine, only lost about 10 lbs! I keep giving up. This is the fattest I’ve been.
