How does your partner show their excitement for TTC?

Question

I have been trying to explain to my husband that other partners show excitement about trying to have a baby or engagement with the process...
He definitely says he wants to have a baby, but otherwise seems totally disengaged with the whole process
How does your partner show that they are excited about having a baby? I want to give him examples.

Asks when I’m ovulating , gets excited when its my fertile week . Insists on having sex on a schedule in hopes of getting pregnant lol it’s cute actually

It’s very difficult and hard on men when it comes to ttc , not only do they feel they need to perform , they know how important this is to us each and every month , so when we get the BFN and our periods deep down inside it hurts our men and they feel it’s because of them , they hate seeing their wife/ gf sad and heart broken ... 
so it took my husband and I 5 loooooong painful years to finally conceive... but the process was intensely hard , ttc became a chore , and wasn’t fun anymore , so we had to start trying new things to make it fun , like dressing up , shower sex, late night drives and vehicle sex , games ect . So after we started trying the new things my husband was 100% in to it , and had so much fun . I completely encourage others to do the same if you are struggling with this 💕 good luck ! We are now 25+4 with a healthy baby girl 🙌🏻 sending baby dust to all of you beautiful women ttc

I agree with Harmony. My husband is similar to how you described. He wants a baby and we talk about it often, make plans for the future, but other than that he doesn’t seemed overly joyed about it. I tell him when I’m hitting my fertile window and we “try” as often as we can during that time. He doesn’t know my fertile days and all that but I also know he gets really down when I’m disappointed we don’t get a positive or something like that. I think they feel more pressure than we do because they think it’s on them to get us pregnant. If that makes sense. Don’t compare yourself to other women who say their partners are enthusiastic about it. All people are different and express differently. Baby dust to you!

My partner is always up for baby making and we even go looking at baby things in the shops even though i am not yet pregnant he tells me he can’t wait till we have our own mini us!

Mine just asks if im ovulating but were ttc #2 so hes already been through this process hahaha. he does joke about me being pregnant on a daily basis and i still have to tell him it doesnt work that fast 😂 currently in my 2ww

Mine doesn't really do much and I dont mind. I usually keep him out of the loop. I dont tell him when I think I'm ovulating or are suppose to just cuz it feels forced to me and not sexy at all. We just have sex whenever. And I try to hit those certain days. When I tell him I'm upset because I got my period he'll encourage me and say dont worry babe, it will happen. We just keep trying. He tells me hes not worried and I shouldn't be either. And sometimes I asked if he was still interested in trying or if he had a change in mind and he just laughed at me and said no babe, I still want to do this. So that's good enough for me. And when I need pregnancy tests I just tell him we need to go to the dollar store lol. I dont expect him to pick up tests randomly or know my cycle(cuz their fucked up) but I think it's very sweet seeing other men do it for their women! He supports me mentally with words and other men show it physically with presents and all that.

The only sign my husband ever gave me that he was excited is every couple weeks he would randomly go "baby?". Or every time I felt tired or sick he would say the same thing 😅
