Increase milk supply suggestions?

Mommy’s who breast feed or have, how did you increase your supply of milk? I can’t seem to get past being able to get 5oz at a time.. any advice is greatly appreciated!🥰🥰 ** I mainly pump and feed as it seems to work better. My son chokes when breast feeding because so much milk comes out at once then just stops once I’m close to empty lol. A preemie nipple and bottle work best for now as he gags and pukes when feeding from the boob**

It sounds like your supply is great. It actually sounds like you have a strong let down which might be causing the choking. Try using something like a haakaa to get the fore milk out before feeding if you’re engorged. It’ll help with the letdown and won’t be so much going into baby’s mouth. You may also try using nipple shields to help slow the flow of the milk but I wouldn’t use them every time or it may decrease your supply.

I think 5oz is pretty standard I'm pumping the same usually 2 to 2.5 oz a breast which is how much baby needs right now.

Pump every 2 or 3 hours. 8 times a day. 
Hydrate 
Massage your breast before pumping and during. I always can get more during when I massage kinda hard. It helps my milk come out better.

5oz is good! I find that emptying every two hours does the trick. I do more so 3 at night . If I skip a pump I always pump closer to 8oz then. 
I have been drinking body armor drinks. They seem to help me feel better (hydration) and I produce milk more.

I stumbled upon Milky Mama products and I want to say their emergency brownies or their la leche drops helped me. I got almost 8 oz from both breast combined yesterday morning! I’m also drinking lots of water... well I’m trying!

At least you can get 5oz! It literally takes me FOREEEVVEERRR just to pump 2oz! 😩

Thank you guys so much! I’m definitely going to try the body armor thing. I’ve had multiple people tell me that helps tremendously. Also, I will post a picture here in a few, I had someone else recommend something I found interesting that may be helpful to anyone else feeling the same way. Or if someone else happens to ask, it seems like a good suggestion.
