Newborn sleeping all day...day/night confusion?

My LO is two weeks old and sleeps all day! Then at night, he will be up for 2-3 hrs! I wake him up to bf every 3 hrs during the day and it’s almost impossible to keep him awake for a full feeding. I keep the room bright and with regular noise during the day when he naps. at night, we keep it dark and quiet. Any other tips?

It sounds like you are doing everything right! It's normal for newborns to sleep alot. For our baby girl we use the velcro swaddles at night only. When we feed her at night, we don't talk to her or make eye contact (even though it's so hard!).

My doctor suggested every 2 hours to feed in the day.  It’s a lot but has helped him
Have longer stretches at night

You should keep him more awake during day to keep him sleepy at night . I have to talk to baby or tickle feet you need to make them uncomfortable nurses told me .
