Do I need to have some medicines on hand for a newborn?

I know they all say 6 months plus.
Is there some I will need before then?

My son Got a cold at 6 weeks and we had to get infant mucus stuff. Definitely gas drops and gripe water, just avoid the gripe water that requires refrigerator after open... feel like that one sucked

Grips water and gas drops have been life savers. And we also have some saline drops for his little nose!

Newborns can’t have any medication until 2 months old. Double check with your pediatrician but that’s what ours told us. The only thing she told us to give him is the daily vitamin D drops since he doesn’t get it from breast milk.
