When can I start BF?

So I basically finished a whole bottle of wine.  How long should I wait to bf?

I believe there are some test strips at but buy baby you can buy to test your breastmilk to make sure it’s alcohol free. I don’t know how much that helps you tonight as they’re already closed for tonight. But maybe for next time.

I would pump and dump before you go to bed, give bottles tonight and nurse the babe in the morning

It's not so much about the alcohol, it's about being able to care for your child safely. I'd say you're unable to do that, personally, if you did finish a whole bottle. I would personally avoid night feeds where chances of falling asleep and suffocation are much higher, especially after consuming so much alcohol. I think it will be a few hours until the alcohol clears your blood therefore your milk.

There is the general rule of 2 hours per alcoholic drink. Not sure how big the bottle was but each serving of wine is usually 5 oz.
