Once you get beyond all of the excitement of TTC and all of the (frankly) infuriating comments about it being “fun” and to just “enjoy it,” then you reach this place of:

1.) It’s our umpteenth cycle trying so the trying part isn’t so much “fun” as it is a job,

2.) You’ve become that crazy lady who posts photos of her dog and wants everyone to realize just how special and human-like her pupper is (totally me),

And

3.) Feeling like your social media feed is a sick drinking game: every time someone announces she’s pregnant, take a shot.

This is all said with humor, humanity and honesty. TTC isn’t always flower crowns and chalkboards with cute sayings....
