So i plan to have my baby shower sometime around December or January, since I’m due near the end of March. But when I register, I really want people to stick to the registry and avoid giving me just a bunch of clothes. By then, I’m going to have enough clothing stocked up I’m sure, plus I’m picky about styles and colors and fabrics. I prefer very neutral things. So on the registry, I’m going to stick to diapers, baby bath stuff, maybe breast feeding essentials, crib sheets, bassinet, stroller, bottles, bottle warmer...etc.

So do you think it would be rude to put a little note at the bottom of the invitations, where the registry stuff is listed, saying something like “please stick to the registry items, mom and dad have plenty of clothing for baby”...? Or something like that?
