How much formula?

How much formula on average does your baby have per bottle? Everything that I see says that my little 2 month old should be eating 6-8 ounces per bottle. I cannot see my little one drinking that much. Occasionally she’ll drink 6 ounces but mostly she’s full just after 4.

I have seen where as long as they eat a certain amount a day the ounces per feeding may vary. Baby may eat less but more frequently. Or eat more per sitting less frequently. And both are normal. On one of my insights on the app told me that and said to take your baby's lead. As long as they are eating enough a day and gaining weight.

6-8 seems like a lot 😳. My baby is almost 10 weeks and still drinks 4 oz every 2.5-3 hours. Sometimes he’ll even only want 3 then the next time will drink 5. He’s gaining weight just fine though. He was 12 at his 2 month appt. and is just shy of 12 1/2 now!

Totally depends on how big your baby is and how often you're feeding them.
I think they're supposed to have something like 2.5 times their weight in ounces per day. So a 10 lb baby should have about 25 oz total per day.

My son is 10 weeks and weighed 12 lbs 13 oz at his check up last week. He 4 ounces every 2-3 hours, before bed he will take a 5 ounce bottle and then will sleep til about 4 or 5am. I will give him another 5 ounces and he goes right back to sleep.
