I got my first car and had a bad time at the dealership with sexual harassment from the employees to someone cursing at me because I would rather talk about the car then give him my number. They sold me the car and I put $4,000 down. I had the car for two months and they would not give me a contract mind you I’m supposed to be paying every month but I have not contract to see how much the car in total will be, what policy it has ect. So my parents told them there would be no more payments until I get a contract. It’s been 9 months without a contract. I’ve saved up my payments and have called, emailed, and gone to the dealership hoping to get a contract but no one would help me the owner is never there and it’s getting frustrating. Should I get a lawyer or is this normal? I called the bank who my car is financed through and they don’t know why I don’t have a contract either.
