Which birth control? 🤔

I was just wondering what birth control helps with cramps besides the pill? The reason why I got on the pill was because I had TERRIBLE cramps. Does any other form help with cramps or is it just the pill?

Answer

I always struggled with painful periods and was recently diagnosed with endometriosis. For some reason the mini pill and I didn’t get along so my doctor suggested the IUD (mirena) it’s meant to stop my period completely so no more pain, today is my 3rd of having it and I’m experiencing cramps and backache, I’m willing to wait for about a week and hope the pain goes and take painkillers, fingers crossed it will settle.
